"I am not the same person that I was last year. I am not the same person that I was when half of these songs were being recorded. I am not the same person I was when I decided to start this. Well of course, I am still me, but so much has come and gone. So many things have physically aged me perhaps. It is all a part of the process. Zaman is a Turkish word for "time", which heals wounds, and mends a broken heart back to strength. These songs were a push to motivation, as the first album brought on a plethora of opportunities for me to keep this going. It was out of positive pressure to get a set of songs together I could play live. The doors opened up, and it was up to me to walk in. So dance into the Zaman."
